Directions to the FIDM Museum & Galleries
Due to the fact that there are 21 freeways in the Los Angeles area, you may need to use a map or online driving directions to get to the 110 Freeway. Once you are on the 110 Freeway, please use the following directions to get to the FIDM Museum & Galleries.
From North—110 Harbor Freeway
- Take the 110 Harbor Freeway South towards downtown Los Angeles/San Pedro
- Continue towards downtown Los Angeles and take the 9th Street exit (stay to your left on the exit ramp).
- Continue on 9th Street and drive 4 blocks to 9th Street & Grand Avenue
From South—110 Pasadena Freeway
- Take the 110 Pasadena Freeway North towards downtown Los Angeles/Pasadena
- Take the 9th Street exit
- Continue on 9th Street and drive 4 blocks to 9th Street & Grand Avenue
Via Metro Rail
- Take either the Red, Blue, Purple or Expo line to 7th Street/Metro Center Station (660 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles 90017)
- Walk Southeast on 7th Street to Hope Street
- Turn right on Hope Street and continue to 9th Street
- Grand Hope Park is at the corner of Hope Street & 9th Street and adjacent to the FIDM building. Walk through the park to reach the FIDM building (919 South Grand Avenue). The block is surrounded by 9th Street, Grand Avenue, Olympic Boulevard, and Hope Street.
Via Metro Bus
- The following bus routes will stop at the corner of 9th Street & Grand Avenue: 37, 70, 71, 76, 78, 79, 96, 378, 485, 714, 770.
- Continue 1/2 block south on Grand Avenue to 919 South Grand Avenue
Parking
- Parking is available underneath the FIDM building at 9th Street just before Grand Avenue (This is an independent parking garage and the rate is $5 per day, validation is not available.)
- Additional parking is available at surrounding parking lots and parking meters.
